If America leaves there will be civil war(lie)... there is civil war now

Even some of those opposed to the war in Iraq feel that it is nessecary for America or the UN to "stay the course" in Iraq.  They argue that although they were opposed to the war, the US must stay in Iraq to provide stability and prevent civil war.  This is absolutely ridiculous.  The civil war has been ongoing under United States continued occupation.  Iraq's puppet government and puppet police department are being paid to beat back those resisting the occupation, causing subsequent retaliation, this is civil war.

  Iraqi's have had peace with eachother before, and they can easily do it again, if they are left alone to handle the task themselves.

You've got the Kurds in the north that have threatened to break off into an independent Kurdistan with the large Kurdish population in the south of Turkey. Part of the reason Turkey allowed us to use their country to mount an attack, was that we said we'd keep this from happening.

In the middle, you've got the Sunni Muslims who can't stand the Shiite South. Nation's are usually created on religious, or racial lines, the British didn't do this when they occupied the area in WW11, and when Iraq was created in 1932.

This has been a CONSTANT source of political and sociall strife throughout the years. Get your head out of your ass and learn some history.

Yeah, they've had war with eachother too.  Who knows what'll happen if they are left alone, don't make big uneducated assumptions.
