basicallly, in  nut shell. Tampon Rock is overemotional rock, the golden child of this genre is that band Dashboard Confessionals. They just seem to bitch and moan about every aspect of their lives....just like a girl on her period.

quasi tampon rock....well they're no so much as bad as Dashboard because they man up in other songs but still they have their mentrational songs.  :)
