Forgive them...it just shows their ignorance and their lack of knowledge.

Yup, I've seen 213 on a lot of East Coast mixtapes and they never throw Warren's name in the mix. Its always 213 as ''Snoop Dogg f/ Nate Dogg''. There are even a few times when mixtape DJ's credit a 213 song as a Snoop solo. ::)

I just think its plain stupidity on the DJ's part. Nothing to get worked up about, but still slightly irritating...

It's cause the Eastcoast keep it moving, whats Warren G done in the last 7 years? not a whole lot.

These new york rap cats are not open minded, they like what they like. Its why you never see a Westcoast joint on many mixtapes.

Still, Warren deserves his recognition. And as for what he has done in the last seven years, I count that he has released two albums (''I Want It All'' and ''Return of the Regulator'') which have both been described as heavily under-rated and over-looked, performed a set on the ''Up In Smoke'' tour, arguably the biggest rap tour ever, and has most recently been promoting the anticipated 213 record with Snoop and Nate. Not to mention the production he has done in this space of time. The only reason it may not seem like Warren has done as much as any mainstream East Coast rapper is because G Dub doesn't get the same promotion as people like Jay-Z, Nas, etc.

Perhaps Warren hasn't done as much as some of the East's rappers in the last few years (I'm not trying to dispute that) but the fact remains that he is an influential West Coast rapper and removing his verse from a 213 song is pretty blatant disrespect on the DJ's part, in my opinion anyway.

I'm not particularly fussed if a DJ refers to 213 as ''Snoop Dogg f/ Nate Dogg'' as they are the more well-known of the two - but removing Warren's part all together? That's cold if you ask me.

I dont know why people making a deal about this.  Im from the eastcoast, and everyone around here knows who the fuck 213 is.  Even Warren, people know him.  I guess you guys over seas feel that they are under appreciated because they get no recognition, but believe me, everyone knows who 213 is.  Yall are trippin.  Who cares if some mixtape DJ took Warren off the track.  No need for Jome to start labelling "Eastcoast People" call 213 Snoop Dogg ft. Nate Dogg.  ::)
