half these people saying fuck the east coast are from Europe. STFU you have no right to speak on the subject. I have no problem with Europeans but seriously you have no say  about what any coast is like by the music you listen to.

It's cause the Eastcoast keep it moving, whats Warren G done in the last 7 years? not a whole lot.

These new york rap cats are not open minded, they like what they like. Its why you never see a Westcoast joint on many mixtapes.

Still, Warren deserves his recognition. And as for what he has done in the last seven years, I count that he has released two albums (''I Want It All'' and ''Return of the Regulator'') which have both been described as heavily under-rated and over-looked, performed a set on the ''Up In Smoke'' tour, arguably the biggest rap tour ever, and has most recently been promoting the anticipated 213 record with Snoop and Nate. Not to mention the production he has done in this space of time. The only reason it may not seem like Warren has done as much as any mainstream East Coast rapper is because G Dub doesn't get the same promotion as people like Jay-Z, Nas, etc.

Perhaps Warren hasn't done as much as some of the East's rappers in the last few years (I'm not trying to dispute that) but the fact remains that he is an influential West Coast rapper and removing his verse from a 213 song is pretty blatant disrespect on the DJ's part, in my opinion anyway.

I'm not particularly fussed if a DJ refers to 213 as ''Snoop Dogg f/ Nate Dogg'' as they are the more well-known of the two - but removing Warren's part all together? That's cold if you ask me.

Correctly spoken

Firstly, I can't understand where people think all this hate towards the East Coast is coming from. If I personally said anything that offended anyone from the East, then I apologise. That was certainly not my intention - nor do I think it was Jome's in the first place, but I'm not going to speak for him. Instead, I'm pretty sure he was only pointing out something that seems a little bizarre to me.

I wasn't trying to ''diss'' anybody else or stir up internet beef, nor was I getting even remotely heated about this DJ removing Warren's verse. Instead I was just having a laugh at the DJ for doing so as it seemed, to me, unnecessary to remove Warren. As I posted much earlier ''nothing to get worked up about''.

Now, like RXL said, lets ''erase the hate''.  8)

"Look at all these conscious rappers - guess who influenced them?" - KRS One

LMAO @ Jome calling out "Eastcoast People" because some guy changed the song around.  HAHA
I dont know why people making a deal about this.  Im from the eastcoast, and everyone around here knows who the fuck 213 is.  Even Warren, people know him.  I guess you guys over seas feel that they are under appreciated because they get no recognition, but believe me, everyone knows who 213 is.  Yall are trippin.  Who cares if some mixtape DJ took Warren off the track.  No need for Jome to start labelling "Eastcoast People" call 213 Snoop Dogg ft. Nate Dogg.  ::)

LMAO
Like I said, this is not one guy who changed the song around..
This is 4-10 mixtape DJ's who play a important role in building the buzz for any artist trying to sell..
If Warrens verses & name is removed from the whole shit, how big do you think Warren's chances are of selling a solo album.
Obviously I refer to "Eastcoast DJ's", but from what I see on Eastcoast forums, they're usually like "Warren who???" Go figure.
To Warren, this is a big deal, but to Nate & Snoop it's just another album..

I guess all you care about is your precious Snoop Dogg getting his credit..  ::)

Props to the G-Dub fans who also finds this stupid, obviously not Represent.

In 1 way true, but there seems to be a lot more Westcoast people (mainly Pac/DPG/Snoop groupies) saying "Fuck the East" than Europeans..

I feel you man. It seems like the chances of getting one more Warren album seems less likely every year. Especially if peopel can't even remember the dude that put out Regulate.

Jome stop acting like such a baby man.  And acting like I aint a G Dub fan, because Im not mad at the DJ who took Warrens verse off the song.  As if you think I would make a stupid gay topic if Snoops verse was taken off a mixtape song.  I could care less.  In Norway, you will prolly never hear a 213 song on the radio nor will you get some Norwegian mixtape with a G Dub verse.  So stop the hating and crying and making pointless threads.
