Waxploitation Entertainment continues to strengthen their roster that already includes the likes of Danger Mouse, KutMasta Kurt and Tha Alkaholiks. The label has just announced the signing of artist/producer J. Wells.

J. Wells is only 21 years old and known as the protege of Tha Alkaholiks' J-Ro, who invited the youngster to join the Likwit Crew. For those who haven't heard much from this kid, he recently produced the Goodie Mob's single "Play Your Flutes" and is currently producing new songs with Petey Pablo, Big Gip, Ali of the St. Lunatics, Rakim and Shyheim.

"This is a big deal for us," says Jeff Antebi, CEO of Waxploitation. "We have not really taken on any new producers in a long time, since the market is over saturated, but J. Wells is so dynamic, so talented, it was impossible to pass up the opportunity to work with him."

Wells is already in the process of producing his own solo album titled Digital Master, which includes guest spots from Inspectah Deck, Ray-J, Method Man, Jayo Felony and Goodie Mob to name a few.

yeh, jwells is a tight producer.
i like his shit. dont know how he is as a rapper tho. never heard his raps.
snoop should use jwells to produce for doggystyle projects
