Black Wall Street is doin it big
« on: August 09, 2004, 03:14:03 AM »
Whas goin on...I just made it back to LA on Thursday after bein in Florida for summer school. I went over to their spot on Friday, and I was there for some hours. It looks like some big things are definitely going to happen. I don't want to reveal too much of anything, but I can say some things. One, it's very likely that I am going to be down with them and doin production for them with Anthology who's their in house producer. I heard some tracks from Game's album and they were hot. I haven't heard the lead single yet but as they said on their site, it is a Dre track. I don't know if it's out yet, but there is a G-Unit mixtape that features Game on almost half the tracks that they gave me a grip of copies of, and I might upload it. It has the track with Eazy on it, one with Billboard over the Doo Rags beat, and Snoop Dogg "Fly like a eagle" remix with Lloyd Game and WC. In their house where they got a studio at, they had a grip of people autograph the wall, such as Rah Digga, Crooked I, and Whoo Kid. Hopefully this means that we will hear a Crooked I and Game track but I don't know for sure. Game wasn't there on Friday, but basically everybody else was that's part of the camp other than Vita. I will drop more info later, since I am going there tomorrow too. So things are startin to look good.

Great news man. I know Game's album is gonna be CRAZY. Keep us posted on the news you gather tomorrow.

Also, that mixtape you were talkin about is G-Unit Radio Part 8, and it's been out on the internet for almost two weeks. It's definitely one of the best mixtapes of this year.

Good lookin.

I went over today for a few hours. I didn't hear a lotta new info, except that Timbaland definitely has at least one track on Game's album. I heard a track Friday was workin on that was tite as hell, probably the best I've heard from him.

Well it's a few reasons we haven't done anything yet. For one, if you listen to my beats, you'll see that my style is completely different from what he raps to on his albums. Also, I am only in LA for 2-3 months out of the year since I am in college in Florida. It seems like whenever I am at home, he's out of town or on tour because that's what he's doin most of the year. But he has freestyled to a couple of my beats before, and I keep in contact with him mainly through his brother who I go to school with.

Dedicato, do you know for sure if it's undecided yet because it sounds like members of the BWS told RTistic it was produced by Dre. I could be wrong tho...

Well as Dedicato said, nothin is 100% sure yet, but I would bet that it will be a Dre beat any day before the Timbo beat, unless the song with timbo is on a "in da club" or "Big pimpin" level. Marketing wise, it would be a lot smarter for the first single to be a Dre beat, and for him bein Dre's new artist that some say will revive the west, it would make a lot more sense for it to be a dre beat. A timbo track for the 2nd or 3rd single would definitely work though.
