Well i got my copy today of madden 2005 on xbox.......i had ps2 but i have to replace the lens....and i got an xbox for $40 bucks.....so im playing it on xbox.......i need to get used to the controller but the game like always is dope! its got this new hit stick control....which u can lay your guy out big time! the game seems like it couldnt get better but it actually is! on xbox looks nice and crispy, graphics look clean! The tempo is tight...theres a way to just stripp the ball and the hit stick is tight....you make them fumble! The crowd is a little more involved too! its bangin...if ur a madden fan its a must get

i heard that supposedly its the last madden game coming out!...anybody know if this is true.....its gonna suck if it is! and on the ps2 theres a collectors edition for $10 bucks more that supposedly has all the madden games that have ever come out.

nah the collectors edition has a video of makin madden an from the og maddens to the newer ones. It also has playable version of madden 93 an 2 ps1 versions of madden.

from what i read about the collector's edition, it has three playable versions of madden dating back to the 16 bit era... and something like the 25 (more or less. i can't remember) greatest moments in football history that you can play out and they get harder with each difficulty

The game is awesome... I know you can get ESPN for 20 bucks but it's definitely worth it to pay the extra 30 to get this. Passing game is better... running game is about equal (they're different but their flaws and stregnths balance each other out)... defense is better. The only thing better on ESPN is the presentation of the game. ESPN actually makes it feel like it's a game on TV. I'd give it a 9.5/10
