Late 2001-2002 Complete Recycling
«

this past year and a half has been filled with hit records that were nothing more than unoriginal laziness, and complete recycling...let me prove my point cause i'm getting sick of it all...
J-Lo- Ain't It Funny Remix (Flava In Ya Ear) Beat Used by Craig Mack
J-Lo- Jenny From The Block (Watch Out Now) Beat Used By Beatnuts
Jay-Z- Bonnie And Clyde (Me And My Girlfriend) Beat Used By 2Pac
Faith Evans- That Song That Jacked The Firm Beat (Phone Tap)
help me prove my point, cause there are so many others, peace.

dont forget papered up by snoop- rakim paid in full.
but all that j-lo shit is irv gotti he cant produce his own shit so he goes and get old hits and and say's "if it worked once it will work again" it's not hip-hop but it is smart. he has stollen over 20 beats, he funny part about them is he does not even re-do them he just takes the orginal artist off and puts another artist on it. like that scarface song. or the 2pac song, or that nas song that he stole from 2pac. i think he just wanted get close to suge so he can get those 2pac samples without any problem.
irv gotti is fucking up hip-hop all by himself.

word, it was one thing when people were sampling stuff from the 70's and stuff, but now people are completly jackin stuff, not even hardly changin the beat, samplin can be nice if its not so obvious, at least take the time to change it a little. i realize a lot of rap songs have a lot of samples in them, but its gettin rediculous lately with how they are samplin stuff
