the beat is from 2pac.....its on the Makaveli cd - Me and My Girlfriend!!!!  He wouldnt be doing this if pac was alive!

I dont like Jay-Z copying this 2pac song at all. If it becomes a hit most of the worlds radio/mtv listeners won't know where the original came from and that's sad. He's not the first one to jack the beat from Makaveli's Me & My Girfriend though. Toni Braxton is also doing it, and even Mariah Carey did it awhile ago on the song "How Much" with Usher...

I played that track Sat. nite before my friends and I went out, and every fan of rap music in the room was pissed at that song. A friend of mine, who's from Brooklyn and one of the biggest Jay-Z fans I know, was pissed Jay-Z did this. There will be A LOT of controversy over this song, I'll tell you that much, just judging from the reactions I saw.  I liked the song, but once this song drops, I have a feeling a lot of peeps within the rap community are gonna speak about this, especially since Jay-Z fucked up the meaning of the song, turning it into a love song.

I fucking hate this song, and I hate Jay Z too. Song blows ass cheeks, period.

Pac is probably rolling in his grave knowing Jigga took one of his rawest songs and turned it into a pile of pop shit.

I went to a east coast board(where i have been spending a lot time as of late getting different opions) and they are all hating on jay-z saying he has really fallen off this time and shit like that.  it reminded me of this board when from the chuuch came out.  I agree im not feeling this cut, im tired if cats making songs for the ladies,  seems like everyone is going the ja rule/nelly route with this r&b shit.  i cant be mad at jay-z for doing the 2pac thing, snoop remakes songs all the time, and i love vapors and lodi dodi, and paid in full.   for me to say i hate this songe because he used pac, would make me sound stupid,  i just think jay-z can do better,  but yeah i lot of peeps are hating on jay-z right now.

Yer for real, hes dead now and I hope that hes looking down agreeing with people sampling his shit.  I know its Jay Z and he and Pac didnt get along but still its only a sample like innit.  Hes just remade the song, nothing wrong with that in my book.
