3 miles left in a Marathon(26.2 miles) and the Brazilian had a 46 sec lead. Not only was grabbed and forced to curb for 10 secs he was shaking for the rest of the race and came up with cramps in his legs. Don't forget about the energy he wasted trying to free himself. Btw the guy was a crazy Irish priest.

I agree, the man probably would have won the race.  You can't judge what he lost on strictly a time scale, these guys are in a fucking zone and when somebody interferes with that it screws their whole mental focus up.

if i hadn't seen it for myself i never would've believed it.  those pictures look mad fake.  it's a messed up situation but you have to admit it's funny as hell.
