Well, first, I dont like to be told what to do.  Second, I aint never bitched about the album.  3rd, everybody in here arnt warren G groupies.  Aint nobody tryna be hard or nothin.  Im just mad cuz everybody is bitchen about the album, purposely discouragin other people from buying it.  Some of yall dissen it and aint even heard the album, but just cuz warren didnt produce, yall like fuck it.  News flash, not everybody from the west are 213 groupies.  Plus, I luv the album.  I like how it came out.  I got or have at least 2 of warren g's cd's and was never impressed with cuz.  I mean hes cool, but i aint gonna have a damn heart attack cuz he didnt produce on an album. Jerome can suck a dick.   Dont ever say i aint a true west coast fan bitch.  If you only knew.  Just cuz i aint a 213 groupie makes me not a true west coast fan?  Your a dumb one dog, theres allot more to the west then fuckin 213.  I got niggas from long beach that dont even like warren.  At least I got love for em.  But to get to the pt, all im sayin is, if you liked the album, im mean really liked it, why the fuck would you wanna sign a petition.  Thats all im saying.  Obvioulsy yall feel very strongly about this so go ahead, thats cool.  But i dont, so dont tell me to sign the bitch.  Everybody was complainin about snoops last album.  I didnt see no petition on having west coast producers remix that east coast bullshit.  Man, ive been waitin for somebody to call me out- Had me checkin this board like 10 times a day.  I almost thought yall wasnt gonna say somethin.

I signed it, but honestly I don't think signing some online petition will do any difference. I hope it does, I really do - There's no other type of music I love more than G-Funk. But I can't see this doing anything to bring us more of that sweet stuff.

I signed it, cuz i think it's good but would be better with sum warren g production on it. Still, i think that guy is fa real on this one, if u ain't into warren's production or 213 at all, then why sign it? and why would u be supposed to hate or disrespect. I'ma quote Common on this "If I don't like it I don't like it, that don't mean that I'm hatin". So sum people should stop tryina make others feel obliged to sign it

allfromtheI: I'm glad you liked the album. But I don't think you've grasped the idea here.  213 is snoop rapping, nate singing, and WARREN PRODUCING. that didn't happen. thats why people are pissed. To finally get a 213 album and have NO WARREN TRACKS???? that is a slap in the face of all the fans that have been down since day 1. It might sell units and all that, but to me its fucked up. I'm not saying its a bad album, but i'm not gonna buy it because i'm not gonna support snoop fucking warren over like that. I'm not saying you're not a true west coast fan because you don't like warren g, i'm saying that you don't have a true appreciation for how shitty it is that they did that, and therefore don't have an appreciation for the west like some of us who listened to west coast hip hop in the early 90's  - ie at the time it came out. If you would have been into hip hop when regulate came out, you'd have an idea what i'm talking about.  I'm telling you, when that shit was droppin back in the day, people were going CRAZY. when i hear some of yall like, "i never liked warren, i don't see what the fuss is about", to me its obvious that you weren't with this shit at the time it came out.

Let me break it down like this: Take Gangstarr for example - Guru wants to put out a gangstarr album. he tells primo he should only rhyme and that he can't produce any joints there. I wouldn't buy that album, and anybody who would buy that album is stupid or doesn't have an appreciation for Gangstarr.

i just singed it (886). I dont think the cd will actualy get remixed but maybe it'll show warren how much his producing is appreciated.

allfromtheI

notice i said - if you don't want to sign it, then don't.

i like the album a whole lot too, i just think a warren produced album would be off the hook.....period. i think many people think the same too so that's why i started this thread. don't get your panties in a bunch. if you don't want to sign it, don't sign it. i just find it hard to believe that less than 20% of the users in here actually voted.

Thas cool AllfumthaIE.

I've been anticipating a 213 album ever since rumours surfaced. I didn't want to hear no one BUT Snoop, Nate & Warren, I quite like some of the songs off the album, I'm not disappointed in their efforts w/ TheHardWay, but I would've prefered the ol' sound. I've been waiting nearly 10yrs for the GFunk era to blossom again, bcoz I miss it. All I have are ol' tapes & scratched cd's.

The reason I signed it was bcoz I didn't like the idea of having all these 'other' producers on there & not a single GDubb produced track. Never had to reach out to others when they already have a dream team.

Haven't bought the album yet, soon! :) (Dun hav it @ my local store).

And you know they'll never stop the furious force of my rhymes
