Lil Jon is bumpin' DJ Quik's "Tonite"

There's a new magazine called "Playlist" that features artist playlists (just like iTunes does on their music store).  On the first issue they caught up with Lil Jon.  In the actual hard copy of the mag, he says a little something about each track on his playlist.  He says something like "'Tonite' is a slept on classic."  He also says that the "Freak-A-Leak" beat was originally meant for Usher's "Yeah!".  When he found out that Petey Pablo used it, he had to go back and re-work "Yeah!" to what we now hear.  Interesting.

Anyway... I thought it was cool that Lil Jon gives "Tonite" the props it deserves.

i think all his beats started out like freek a leek and he just changed two things or so.

they have worked together.. quik rapped on the remix to lil scrappys "no problem", and he also mixed the song.
