I think Warren improved his flow and lyrics a lot since ROTR. I wasn't feeling his raps that much on his last solo, he sounded kinda tired and too slow but the production was super-tight.
Until now I Want it All had Warren's best flow but now i think his flow and lyrics on the 213 album are as good as or even better. ( I have to listen to I Want it all again) What ya'll think?
If he keeps his flow tight the next Warren G album could be better than I Want It All and that was almost classic. I just hope the 213 album will give him the right buz to get a good record deal and be a successful producer and rapper.
Maybe Joysticc with a tight video and a little snoop verse can get Warren the needed attention

Warren kicks intelligent words (not just talkin the standard shit over the beat to fill the time) on Appreciation and Gotta find a way
I love his verse on Another summer

Yeah Im surprised he came tight lyrically on this album,I love this line:
I'm usually the instigator
But ain't nothing greater
Than a X-rater with a nickname like vibrator

I don't. But I see your point. He switched styles.

I think he really held his own on this album, the whole "street" type attitude he had on the CD worked nicely, but I still miss the 94 laid back flow

he sounds a lot better over his own beats. i liked his raps on his solo records more. it sounds like he was trying too hard on the 213 album. it was cool tho.
peace
