Why can't america secure facilities in iraq?

<< < (3/4) > >>

Woodrow:
LOL!

This shit happened before our troops got there

Trauma-san:
They said the equivelant of 17 tractor trailor trucks full of explosives is missing.  That's pretty scary, but what's more relevant is they've said that the United States has already destroyed the equivalent of 17 THOUSAND tractor trailor trucks full of explosives.  That would be like me having a thousand AK-47's, and losing one.  On top of that, like Woodrow said, this is all stuff that was just supposed to be there, and was reported today (although it's an old story) for political gain.

america would have the same problems if either south america or canadians wanted to terrorise the USA.

you're right, the russian one was out of place but the other two attacks weren't

also cnn reported that this 380 ton estimate comes from what Sadaam was believed to have had before the invasion took place, so it's not like it was stolen recently, it just wasn't around

hand on.. rewwwwwwwwindddddddddddddd

who believes anything about what people say saddam had before..

are these explosives hidden with the WMD?  :D :D :D :D

Trauma-san:
^ That's the whole problem.  They're saying

"We know Saddam had this.......... and now they're not there! They're missing, the U.S. lost them!"

.....   but at the same time, the fact that we were wrong about what Saddam had before, is ALSO being held against us.

So, they don't believe the reports when it's harmful to us....... and they use the reports as evidence when it can be used to harm us.

By The Way, the people doing the harming? The Democratic party of the United States of America.  We're not fighting against any outside force (although they're saying it as well)..... our fight, for the honor of our country, is basically with one of our political parties.  The democrats have aligned themselves in such a way that anything that looks bad on America, is good to them, because they can blame it on Bush.  Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

apparently 1 pound of the explosives was used in the the lockerby bombing, 350 tonnes of the stuff into the wrong hands is scary no matter how much america destroyed it doesn't make whats out there any less dangerous.

but if we look at the war, what has actually been achieved?
wide spread looting accross iraq
total disregard of law and order
missing nuclear and other explosive equiptment
thousands of iraqis dead
over 1000 coalition troops dead
constant disruption by insurgents and coalitiion
a huge bill for all involved
increased the gap between middleasten countries and the western world, plus between america and europe both diplomatically and in public opinion
and we still havn't got the infrastructure back to the pre warlevels which weren't exactly good.

oh but we put saddam on trial and killed his sons
and we've released more oil into the market but created more uncertainty and insecurity so the price of oil has actually gone up!
