He'll probably just do an album on Aftermath

I doubt that he will do a solo album on Aftermath......if that is tha case Dre will have to make it be perfection and Daz wont want to wait around for Dre.......he'd just decide to take it all by his self.....I just dont see Dre and Daz in the studio doin' alot of shit together even they do hook back up and work out their differences......even tho it would be nice to see Dre and Daz back in the studio together like old dayz, I just dont see it happenin' that often......I hope Im wrong tho...... :D

WTF, this cant be true, would be hella fuccin dumb to sign to doggystyle and then to aftermath, what da hell iz dat? And since when owns Death Row the name DPG? They own the name Tha Dogg Pound, Daz owns the DPG name, cause he took it as alternative name to Tha Dogg Pound. Would be fucc'd if this true.

Didant Daz say that Dre has taken creit for a lot of the work he has done eg The Chronic and Doggystyle. Surely Dre wouldnt sign someone who basically said he was a theif and a fraud.

no. daz claims a few things here and there like 2 songs on the doggystyle.

thing is... was that actually Dre's fault? or did suge push that through... ?

this shits nearly 10 years old... cant they make up?

Dam, I don't anything can surprise on this board anymore.  If this is true, dam...Dre is HUSTLING.  I wouldn't be surprised if Nate, Xzibit or Snoop eventually sign.  50 Cent, Ice Cube, Ice-T...now Daz?

I remember in an interview Daz saying that he wasn't given credit for production work on The Chronic. This is something that could never be fixed cause neither of them could back down from their statements.  Dre said that he always gives credit to others even if they contribute a little something to the track.  One of them is gotta be lying and if one of them admits that, they would lose a lot of credibility.

I don't know how they could work together because of this.

If this is true, it's great. Aftermath with Dre, Eminem, Rakim, Ice Cube and Daz would be a very strong label.
But it's known Dre was mad at daz for claiming the production on doggystyle. But it is possible they cleared the air once and fore all.
If this is true (which I really don't believe), then Dre has to have a new contract with interscope. Because not only Dre's perfection makes that so little albums are released. Interscope has a big role in aftermath and only wants a few albums a year and that album they wanna promote good and make it a hit record.
They will never release on one day two or more albums for one group of buyers and trie to avoid collisions with concurrents.
But hey, I hope Dre gets permission to relaese more records a year. He can build a bigger group of producers and artists.

If he signed Daz, my biggest question is why not Warren G????

It wasn't bout "The Chronic," it was about "Doggystyle."  Even in that case I doubt he did anything cause all hi sbeats after that never were as tight as the shit Dre did on "Doggystyle."

if this is true that makes it daz and dre vs. kurupt and suge....

interesting, especially as kurupt has said hes going to diss back at snoop and daz.

If this has really happened theres no way dre can keep aftermath out of snoops beef with tha row now.

This new's is pathetic.....
I can't bare to watch DpG go down in flames like this, Daz Has hitt rock bottom and it's showing. If this Aftermath bullshit goe's thru, then Daz Dillinger is a bigger hipocrite than Kurupt ImO.
Daz goes from being the heart n' soul of DpG to the fucken laughing boy of the internet....if he keep's this shitt up he will lose all of his true's who stuck through all of his many low's.
If he sign's wit' Aftermath and form's a group with the reported above.....then I can truley say Daz is DONE.

Dillinger has made it this far without him (Dre).....why doe's he need him now? This is what made Daz tight for his true's, He ran alone and didn't need them other foo's (Dre & Snoop) who never gave him any support over the year's.
I love Dre & Snoop.....But Daz has alway's been my favorite act outta the entire O.G. Deathrow inmates.
So this new's of Daz closing up shop....is fucked.

I hope this shitt is fake as fuck..

Hatesrats 2oo2

Damn.  you said it perfectly.  I had a whole speech in my head but you got to it first.  Props.  This rumer shit is getting way out of hand.  Daz was always my fav cuz he ran DPG Recordz SOLO.  The Mak And Daz thing did piss'd me off though.. Still does...  Still dont understand his reasonning behind that move..

but everything else he's done on an independant level has been str8 gangsta.  INDY like a mutha fucka.. from the albums. to the production.. to the guest appearances...  all INDY gangsta shit.  It would suck to see him give up freedom for Dre's camp.. just to put out an album full of Dre's 2001 production formula.  I'm so tired of Dre's production.  It's not classic anymore.  It's over used.  Hopefully Cube wont fall pray to Dre's magical 2001 formula.
