Remember When In Hip-Hop

Solo albums actually meant just that
If MC's appeared in commercials they were sellouts
MC's didn't have to drop "club bangers" to get the audiences ears

How did he "sell out"?
Herb Quote Of The Year[/u]

CalebOhio: I think i can speak for many others when i say my favorite rap artists are white but i still want black artists to be dope. they are chosing not to be. that wouldn't be a likely believe held in a white supremacist group. I want Nas to deliver evertime but he doesn't every time Sage does. so Sage gets my $15 regardless or his status. fuck your status perception and labels you use.

He appeared in the Boost commercial with Kanye and Luda. This is 2004 though and all rappers appear in commercials. We're talking about the past and how good it was back then.

P.S. Sometimes MC's in commercials can be dope as fuck like Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, MC Eiht and 2Pac all up in them St. Ides commercials. Or they can be wack as fuck like Xzibit in that Right Guard commercial. It just depends on the commercial and product.
