Black Eye Peas just resently added the girl, and gained their new image. Before they were kind of like the new age Pharcyde. It was groups like Pharcyde, Black Eye Peas, Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, they kept the westcoast diverse. The west has a certain sound, but these guys came out and had a different sound that help diversify, and contribute to the west. Now I'd call the Black Eye Peas sell outs, but this is 9 years after Eazy died. Had Eazy been alive, who knows the possiblities, their Joints and Jams song was sick, and their style before was straight up pure hip-hop. Black Eye Peas with Eazy would be something to hear for sure.

Now Kurupt, whoever said Kurupt makes the west look bad, slap yourself. Kurupt has done so much. That muthaphukka was the one that did all the rapping in New York New York. His lyrical skillz picked up the bar for Snoop and everyone else in the west. The early Kurupt could not be touched by many people on the west. And don't front off of him not putting out an album in 4 years. My dogg has been trying to put Death Row back together and his doing his thing. Nothing wrong with that at all.
