I dont know who can disagree to that question,I mean, its obvious his music has gotten worst (mostly thanks 2 Dre).He didnt rap gangsta & thats what made him stand out from all the west coast mc's.His music was deep & heart felt (not that it isnt now,but it definately aint what it used 2 be). This dude was known for being raw on the mic.As a matter of fact he still is,its just that people dont like his gangsta talk.I dont know if any1 else noticed this tho,if u listen to X's lyrics on the songs for his new album,he actually isnt rapping that gangsta like he did on his last 2 albums. He still raps tough, which is normal for every mc,but it aint the same gangsta talk he used to kick.Im glad he took this route. The only thing he needs is the production,it went down after he hooked up wit Dre,I mean, their shit was really good but every1 gotta agree here that it doesnt touch Xzibits old shit. What can beat Paparazzi,What U See Is What U Get,Eyes May Shine (Remix),The Foundation, etc.?I could go on & on.Anyways,1 more thing aqbout his lyrics,it doesnt matter what he raps about or how he raps (gangsta or whatever),he knows how 2 build his rhymes,so no matter what style he takes,u cant doubt he's still one of the best lyricists.

40 Dayz & 40 Nightz was hot, so was Restless... MvM was already a disappointment for me. So I am quite curious to his new album, but I don't expect something such big as 40D&40N or Restless...

So, yeah, he fell off. But the other side is we have Pimp My Ride (if you like it...)

Tsjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

i dont think he fell off...just cause he dropped a weak album (manvsmachine) ppl sayin he fell off...alotta rappers drop weak albums but still manage comeback...and his lyrics on that album weren't as bad as people say they were he's got a new album coming out and u never know if it might be tight....just cause his new single may not have tight rhymes dusnt meen he fell off...these days rappers who drop radio singles dont hardly spit...no on wants to hear ppl spit no more...instead they just wanna dance...i think he hasn't fell off

Yes, 6 years ago.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

it's either "has xzibit fallen off?" or "did xzibit fall off?" or "xzibit fell off?"

and yes.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

there have been at least 5-6 Classic tracks on all of his albums; i'm hopin the new one will be no exception. From the looks of it, if the last tracklist is real, it's gonna be some underground shit, and thats real good news!
