It's Funny How The South Was Once Hated

But now everybody is on our shit, like how cats wanna sip and lean like Texas, get crunk like ATL, and so on. Who recalls when nobody in hip-hop except the West didn't wanna fuck with South rappers period?

I'd rather say it's funny how the south is not hated anymore ;)

Not hatin, just bein real. There's only a few dudes in the south I can listen to.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

uhm, that was his point. IMO the south went from ignored and unpopular to very successful and hated on at the same time. The problem is that people judge it by a few rappers (those who are involved in the boom that got the south all that attention) who ain't all that and generalize...but i've been discussing this for a while, so i won't go on now

Lil Jon, Eastside Boyz, Ying Yang Twinz, Cash Money, No Limit

Those are the acts that people base their opinion of the South on. I know, you know it, we all know it. People really don't know the South, they just hate on what's popular.

its even funnier how the west and east coast fans BITCH on how much they hate the south..but 1nce some1 from the south collab with some1 from 1 of those sides...it aint a problem then..the haters turn into a pair of flip flops

the midwest and the south fans/rappers have never jus hated on others like the east n west does...tell u the truth they dont give fuck about the east n west..and much as the west n east bites..the south.. u aint heard nobbbbody complain..they laugh at em 4real... yall shoulda heard what e.s.g said like a month ago about the sizzurp drink jim jones made..that shit was so damn funny..

the game would be borin without the south period.. east n west prolly would still be bitchin at each other if master p and cashmoney didnt fill that spot up quik as they did.. respect or check it

Oh sorry, I didn't realise we judged hiphop by the number of #1 hits, I must remember than next time I'm comparing Common to Nelly.

Ignorance at it's finest.

Name 5 club jams by these artists:

Pastor Troy
Little Brother
Cunninlynguists
Bubba Sparxxx
U.G.K.
Young Bleed
Playa Fly

If you can't then again, NEVER speak on the South, because you're just a hater without ANY knowledge on the South.

"Get Some Crunk In Yo System" is by Trilville, featuring Pastor Troy, but anyhow, I know he has Club songs. But he's not a Club rapper. Most of his songs are either grimey or meaningful.
