Thats not the point. Regardless if the song is wack or not,t snoop is #1 & he ain't getting played in the #1 rap station in the country Hot97. 

If u look at the billboard list i posted, Hot97 is playing everybody in the billboard top 7 except snoop.

Most every song on the radio is wack. So what if Snoop's song is wack, I know here in Cali, all the girls love to dance to that shit, and I like to dance with them. Besides, didn't Ja Rule have a chain of wack singles that were number one and Hot 97 played them hourly. We need a new Westside Connection, and not Ice Cube and company trying to relive glory, but a new group dedicated to putting the west back on top. Fuck all the critics in the NYC.

And I know how to fix it.  We need to quit playin that wack new york shit out here in Cali too.  We'll see who's pockets hurt the most.   Fair Enuff.  I agree, Im tired of hearin bullshit on the radio for the last 8 years.  And most of the bullshit is east coast.  I hate to say it, but its true.  It definitly aint west, cuz we aint on the fuckin radio.  Last time radio was cool, was damn, when the west was on the radio.

i live in the tristate area and hot97 is wack, but they are playing "drop it like it hot" every day...only dj who doesnt play it is flex, and hes basiclly on that r&b shit completely...
i mean hell play some comformative hip-hop but thats about it if that.......funny becuase about 10 years ago, you could turn on hot97 and hear "come clean", "I got 5 on it",
"1st of tha month" and "one more chance" back to back.......but apparantley california has fallen of the face of the earth now

When 90% of the record companys and execs live and operate in NY, it's hard to ignore something like that. I don't think the west wastes 2 seconds caring about what the east thinks, they just want a fair shake just like they are giving to the east on their radio stations, which is completely understandable. And just like a lot of people are saying, NY is the single largest market, and I'll add, in the world. The fans just say "fuck you" to the east, but the artists get paid to listen to everybody so they can make good songs. They have to care. And they care just like every other artist out there. So giving equal air time is only fair.

In Charlotte, they've been playing it frequently since it came out.  It's #1 here too, has been for a long time.  They've started playing more and more westcoast stuff, too lately, but mostly classic stuff like more Tupac and Doggystyle and Warren G, stuff like that.  Hey, that's a start, though. 

So anyways, if they're doing it here, Hot97 don't have any excuse, you know?
