Linkin Park maybe hard rock, but not heavy metal. Listen to Pantera or even late Metallica there's a major difference. Linkin Park fits in the realm of Limp Bizkit and/or similar groups who are hard rock.

Yeah I love metal & some real hard rock.I mean,after hip hop thats my second favorite genre in music.& I really like metal combined with rap,for example Xzibit's remix of LA Times with Endo is a fuckin classic to me,MOP's metal-rap shit is dope too.
