That #### is not suprising.  Back in the day, when we was running ####, the unrepresented regions, specifically the midwest and south, was bangin our ####.  Thats why you hear allot of big name artists from them regions, say thier favorite songs or artists or producers are from the west. (em, chingy, lil john, g-unit, etc).  The east coast had thier own ####, so we werent as big as an influence to them as the others.  Plus, allot of east coast artists, dont wanna admit that ####, but they was bumpin our #### on the undercover too.  I know hella dudes from the south, they talk #### bout the west now, but they suprise the #### out of me when im bumpin ol skool short or quik or somethin, and they got the song more memorized then me.  I notice that #### all the time

It doesnt take much talent to be a popular rapper anymore. Back in the days u earned ur spot, nowadays we see more people like chingy. Im not hating on those kind of rappers, they trying to make a living. But they are distracting us from true good rappers. Hopefully u arent sucked by the mainstream rappers. Dont get me wrong there are hella people who are talented or started from scratch. But this shit is what makes rap kind of like a volunteer thing.

Im an East Coast artist and I can cosign with you on that shit.  Back then hip hop wasnt so divided as it is now. Most of my early influences were from the west (South Central Cartel,Spice 1, Mc Eiht,Nwa,Too Short E40  etc...)  But now people over here on the East Coast have too much pride to admit it but I say good music is good music no matter where your from.  Shit if you listen to most East Coast songs now you hear a foundation that the West built.
