Your Thoughts On Profanity In Hip-Hop

I'm no Will Smith type of rhymer because I cuss sometimes only because I have a belief that hip-hop is supposed to be raw and uncut, and using profanity while saying some creative lines only adds to that rawness, plus I cuss because I like to, I only have a problem with rappers who cuss while saying mindless shit, like Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz to name a few. I'm the kind who cussed around folks in my age bracket but never around my parents. Is cussing overdone?

aslong as it is normal i dont care. a lot of people say fuck or something once in a while so thats not annoying. but as soon as somebody says fuck in every sentence, it pisses me off.

I don't give a fuck. Sometimes I wanna hear Lil Jon cussing, sometimes I don't. Somtimes I wanna hear Usher singing, sometimes I don't.

me, i don't mind cussing, but when rappers do it to look hard, it's stupid and childish. when it's just the language they speak and like, comes out naturally i've got no problem with it, neither do i when they are actually unleashing their fury and cuss to express their anger, if it's merely a gimmick i find it annoying though
