Karl Malone expected to return to the Lakers/Kobe's criticism...
« on: November 29, 2004, 02:10:57 PM »
Laker owner Jerry Buss said Sunday he was confident Malone would return to the Lakers regardless of other proposals. Malone, 41, had microfracture surgery on his right knee in June and is expected to decide in about a month whether he will play. "I think every team in the league could use him and would want him...He's getting offers, probably 2 or 3 a day," Buss said. "I'm confident that if he plays, he'll be a Laker. He has said that publicly in the papers and he has told me that personally as well." San Antonio and Minnesota gained interest in Malone when his agent said Malone would prefer to stay in the West. But no team has as good a chance as the Lakers...

Be it from Phil Jackson, Shaquille O'Neal, or Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant has been criticized in recent months for various reasons, none of which Buss said he understood. "It's hard for me to read everybody's portrayal of Kobe," Buss said. "He's just a different person than everybody seems to think. I admire him enormously for the fact that he's just been quiet. Everybody else keeps talking, but he's been terrific. He just sat back and said, "OK, I'll let my play indicate what kind of person I am."

so Lakers decided to add a wheel-chair for Malone next to their bench or what's up with that?
Cause I don't care where I belong no more

Well, idiot, if the way Malone played last season is any indication of how he will play this season, he will be more than fine... :D

If Malone returns with "us", i'll be the happiest guy in the forum. Ya know i simply LOVE him.

Man he just survived a terrible trial where he was risking a lifetime sentence. Seriously, i think he doesnt give a flying fuck about Ray Allen, Phil and them all. He's just playing basketball. That's the Kobe i like. Props.

If I had a million dollas, I'd fly over and kick your groupie ass as you're being disrespectful, but what about we just stop this if-talk.

Dont do this mistake again understimating a real champion.
Last year somebody did this mistake too (n.21, 2 times), and ended up rediculized.

It's too bad you don't have a million dollars and you're probably some gay little European kid who's half my size...If you weren't a poor little fruit, maybe you could qualify to kick my groupie ass, but you sadly are... :-X

How mad you get over some Kobe-is-not-the-Goat-discussion is beyond entertaining. You oughta make your rage less obvious, though, cause otherwise you look like a moron, just like now for instance. And I thought we were friends.

I don't make friends on the internet...I am also not the slightest bit angry...It just amazes me how much I have to take out of my day to explain shit to people like you...I'm not tryna' start a beef with you, but you really need to do some research more often before pressing that post button.

LoL, now you try to convice the board that I don't know why comparing players solely by their stats lead to accurate conclusions?

All I've been saying is, if a player has the better stats,
the worse team still the better team-record
being like 6-7 years younger,
I don't see how the FUCK the other dude should be a much much much better player.

And I stick to that.

If you don't see that, then that's your fault...If everyone saw shit the way you do, Jordan would never have been considered the best player to ever play.

Actually only Shaq does.
