Why is Spice 1 so underated??

I dont understand why spice one is slept on so much?? seriousley there are so many other westcoast artists that get more credit then Spice and it doesnt make sense. he has had many classic albums and the shit he dropped in 04 was straight heat!

My question is do you guys just think of spice 1 as just another rapper, or do you consider him a rap legend??

his last album was really crappy.  but the pioneers was some dope ass shit.  he needs better production, he still rips the mic like always.  he is in my top 10 rappers.  I don't think he is underrated tho.  He gets plenty of attention from bay area rap fans.  there just really isn't a whole lot of gangsta rap fans anymore.

Spice 1 is a  Bay Area Legend and that's about as far as i will go.
He was pretty huge on both sides of the coast back in the early 90's  but will probably be remembered as that East Bay Gangster Rapper with the stuttering flow. Who can ever forget "Dumpin' Dem in Ditches?"

From what I here, Ant Banks said in an interview that Spice is a studio gangsta. Could be true, could be false.

I like his music regardless. But, Spiceburg Slim was definately not his best. I like a few tracks from it, but he switched up his lyrics lately to fit in to the mainstream. All he talks about now is pimpin bitches instead of killin bitches.
