to me.. snoop has succesfully maintained, and perhaps increased his status.. but his older fans think he's gone soft, and sold out and want him to stop making gay ass rnb records and drop some hard shit again.

I'm a Snoop Dogg fan, always have, always will. There have been many times I've been mad at Snoop, his No Limit days come to mind. But in the end, I got love for him, and love never fades.

For real, Snoop def catches more hate on this board than praise.  The reason why ther are always topics about Snoop is because he is the most successful westcoast artist and has been for years and hes making big moves that other people fav rapper arent...so he catches hate for not doing what other people want him to...Im just glad he stil makes music that I can listen to and enjoy cuz I dont think he really needs to at all.  One day he will get back and make an album with Dre and then eveyone will like his music again.

I used to like him. Even on No Limit I gave him a shot. Had every album up until Top Dogg. This shit with the Neptunes though, is a little bit of a head scratcher. I like the N.E.R.D. shit, but that is almost more rock and funk than anything.

I did download R&G and I'll admit, it's better than I thought, but I'm glad I downloaded it instead of bought it.

But i wish for the Snoop Doggy Dogg of old not the Snoop Dogg who's "Droppin' it like it's Hot" on the radio these days.
