-OPINION ON THE DUBCC COMPLIATION-

Wut up,

I haven't downloaded the whole album, though I WILL, and I will support ya'll by bumping this when I ride around, but i just wanted to drop 1 main opinion and my view on why this did not do as well as expected.

All the songs I downloaded sound really East Coast Undergorund to me. It sounds something along the style of Lyricist Lounge. However, this is a West Coast Rap forum, and most ppl here probably do not bump that kind of music.

I for one do not own 1 cd with some well known 'lyricist' who uses word play and metaphors. I'm just not into that kind of thing and that probably explains the lack of East Coast artists in my CD collection.

If ya'll made some shit like 'bitch/hoe/money/cars' album it would have done sooo much better with the given audience you were catering to.

Again, lemme download the whole thing first, but currently this is my view. Its definitly an excellent effort and actually it is quiet mindblowing to see some of the talent from the homies on here, BUT this is not what most ppl on here are after.

Much props though to everyone who participated on this project and I will continue to support this kind of thing. Ya'll are definitly gonna be getting bumped when we drive to a house party around here.

Word up homie...That explains why Incocknito was hating so damn much...He's close minded to only West Coast Hip Hop...You gotta understand, when it comes to MC's, most of us are influenced by East Coast artists, because that is where the main lyricists come from...But we got some West Coast bangerz up on that album...Check out:
