I been having problems with firefox recently myself which has lead me to use explorer. I much prefer firefox but it keeps freezeing and crashing/not responding and videos wont play properly but dosent happen when i use explorer. To be honest i think it probably just means iam due for a format. Quite possibly you might benifit from doing the same thing?
Head fuck i know but its good to do it reasonably regulary, as far have having a machine that runs smoothly.
Guess you could try obvious things like uninstal re-instal or update it to latest version or roll back to previous version.

Get Google Chrome dude. I been using it for a couple years now and have never had a problem.

It downloads and installs fast and even makes browsing faster.

After it went to FF4 that's when firefox turned into freezerfox  >:(  I chose 2 have mulitple browsers after that.  Opera, Safari, & Google Chrome.  But there are times when those browsers mentioned can act like freezerfox themselves.
