Jay Z. fuck the haters snoop is makein great music and if he keeps it up hes gonna be as great or if not greater then what Jay Z is/was. i think Jay Z sucks but everyone else thinks hes the best rapper n stuff and i think snoops gonna be the next best rapper especially with the neptunes help... and i know yall hardcore west coast fans are gonna hate it but fuck it Snoop is the king of the west coast as a matter of fact he is the west coast.

I will say that Snoop Needs to do alot of stuff to be on the same level as Jay Z, in my opinion Jay Z is the best Rapper around, why? he did it all he had more than 10 singles that had heavy rotations on radio, and he didnt need to change his style to have success...Jay Z could release an album acapella and it would still go platinum plus.about Snoop , he got an ego there is like 10 or 15 songs that we could call "whats my name" he keeps talking shit and he's not that good as a business man, Yes he puts his nose everywhere (thats what Snoopin is about anyway) but he needs to step his game up
but if he works things out in a few years I might call Him the greatest but with this latest release he's just a rapper who still want to sell

I agree with you....I try not to be overbearing with my view of snoop because of how "militant" some of these dudes on the forum get but I agree with everything you posted ...one thing about jay z was that he's a great thinker and I believe his success was meticulously planned out and snoop more or less just went with the punches and always does what he has to do to maintain... but it seems like for snoop the worst is behind him and he can finally do the things he needs to do to make himself the icon he always claimed to be...he over came his murder case ...his break from death row....his seperation from dr dre ...the dysfunction of his own groups and his own lable (dogghouse/doggystyle records) etc. and always came out on top....its time for snoop to reap the benefits of all the years he put into the game...

look at LaToiya Williams , in 2002 she had a great single, everybody was anticipating the video, then snoop came out with this wack ass low budget video, then everybody took it as a joke and didnt realize how talented she was...Later that year Snoop released one of his wackest album (Paid Tha cost) wich included a song with LaToiya Williams called "I believe In You" it was produced By Hi Tek.Of course with the success of "Beautiful" (fuck Snoop for not putting Charlie Wilson on the video) he didnt think about releasing a 3rd single "Lollipop" was blowing up on mixtapes and "I Believe In You " was the Jam...if this shit was a single LaToiya Williams would be known everywhere and would be on the same level as Jill Scott or Mary J Blge..but nah Snoop Is too selfish
