damn, nice. if you dont mind may i ask how much do you think you have spent on all your jordans total as of today? i spend a lot of my money on car audio, but havnt done much with it lately since college and low funds.

Well, right now I have close to 70 pairs of Jordans.....all of which have varying prices. Some are retros that I bought on release day for a retail of as low as $100, to my most expensive pair: a pair of rare originals from 1991, which cost me almost $500. Ive bought most myself, though some (like the two pairs of black/red XIII's above) were given to me as gifts.

However, ive been buying J's since 88', and there are alot of pairs I no longer own (due to my foot getting bigger and/or wearing them out). All in all, ive probably shelled out close to 10-12 grand on J's over the past 15 years.....I didnt start seriously collecting them however, until about 2000 or 2001. At the end of 2002, I had about 20-25 pairs. 2003 was my breakout year, where I bought almost 30 pairs, and in 2004 I bought almost the same amount. Probably will do the same this year, and from here on out as it has become my fav hobby. Ill probably have close to 100 pairs by the end of this year.

Im gonna try and get pics of my entire collection up in the next few months, though im probably gonna wait until after the white/navy/flint XIII's come out.

^^^^Original Carmine VI's, from 1991......very rare pair of J's, and a "holy grail" among collectors. $500, believe it or not, is a good price for these. Ive seen them go for more than that, though they were in deadstock condition (my pair is near deadstock). I bought these from another collector on Ebay last October, after searching for a pair for years.


Some of the more rare pairs can go for that much, and they have even gone well into the THOUSANDS, though $500 is the most ive personally spent. A pair of brand new Military Blue IV's, for example, from 1989, are probably worth somewhere around $1000-$1200......they are EXTREMELY rare now and will command a very high price among collectors everywhere. Id love to get my hands on a pair of those, though even if I did have the money for them, it would probably be years before id find them. They are THAT rare.
