Production is EVERYTHING on Documentary....lyrics not so much
« on: January 07, 2005, 08:40:10 PM »
Game is not very lyrically inclined. If I hear anyone rap about air force 1's again I'm gonna puke. And why does he have to shout out to every other artist he's down with in all of his songs...doesn't he have a mind of his own

Game is sick lyrically.  Way better than 50.  His album has SICK production.  I give it 8.5/10.  If it came out last year it would've been second best album.  Sick shit.  I love it.

His lyrics are easy to criticize there's no doubt about that, but actually, as a rapper, I think he's doin pretty good for a dude that just startet rappin 3 years ago at the age of 21 or so.
Noone expected a new Ras Kass anyway did we? Plus at least Game is able to come ON this beats he got and kill them, Ras Kass is always off-beat even on whack ass beats.

The track with Eminem and Special with Nate had some good lyrics. The rest of the album is pretty fucked up with the shoe references and he constantly is on Eazy and Jimmy Iovine's dick.

1. Do you honestly believe Game started rapping 3 years ago? Kill yourself if you do.

2. Soul On Ice > Anything Game will ever do.

he should've called this album "dickriding 101"

its obvious he has nothing to talk about cause all he does is name drop

smh @ this no talent fuck comparing himself to g rap and trying to pull off a camron wordplay line when 2001 didnt even come out in 2001

good production though, just further proof that just blaze will own 05 and buckwild is the most underated producer ever.

his delivery still sucks, too.

yea I wondered about that too.. even if he really thinks 2001 came out in 2001, which would be horrifying, how come dre didnt tell him what the fuck's up? I mean lol that's just a major flaw, you can't keep this like this especially on a single everybody is gonna listen to.

Masta T is the kid who was mad cuz he sees Aliens and Xzibit doesn't. LOL!

Anyway, anyone who thinks X AIN'T a battle rapper was obviously a Band Wagon Xzibit fan. Xzibit was one of the illest emcees to touch the mic and now that he's got his head straight, he still is. Regardless of what anyone thinks, Xzibit was a somebody without Dre. Who was Game? He was a rapper with JT The Bigga Figga that only 4 people cared about here. I ain't heard Documentary, but I will bet my life that it ain't near as tight as At The Speed... or 40 Dayz...

If X and Game battled, X would destroy him. X has REAL battle raps.

I posted that earlier. So, yea, you might want to actually READ what I wrote, as opposed to hoppin' on the defensive and proving your homosexuality to the world by dickriding another grown man.

Ain't said the albums wack, how could I? Haven't heard it. Now, you can stop crying and re-read my first post in this topic. Then address me. Thank you.

Well then don't claim Soul On Ice is better than anything Game will ever do, when you don't know the Album, LOL..

One could argue that it is sooooo clear that Soul On Ice is better cause Ras Kass is so dope although he always raps off-beat, but still by saying Soul On Ice is better than anything, you imply you at least fucking know the Album, homie.

In addition to that, don't compare X to Game by taking an Album that was recorded hundreds of years ago. Compare The Documentary to WMD and see who wins, LOL.
