Game is not really down with G-Unit as it seems.

its strictly promotion. they really arent friends, and there is always stuff that g-unit (outside of game) are doing that kind of hint at that.

that shit about jimmy iovone makes sense, he wants to be 100% sure that an artist will at least go plat. With Game being a part of G-Unit, it's almost guaranteed he'll do somewhat bigger numbers, than what he'd do on his own, no matter how dope the album is. I doubt that Dre or The Game pitched the idea for Game to sign with G-Unit.

2) erm, just like Suge Knight was executive producer for all the DeathRow classic albums (without doing shit)?

For real, they probably just put 50's name on the back cover as exec prod. just because he's a big name and will help the album to sell more units.

they propbably put 50s name on the back because he ceo of gunit records.the ceo usualy says what songs to put on and what songs to not put on. thats what an ep does. he also works with a&rs to work on a marketting plan and gets producers in to work with. and because game is signed to gunit and aftermath thats why both names were on. suge was also a ceo and did the same things, basicly.

Oh so they did actually contribute to the album?   I seriously didn't know people like Suge were that closely involved with the albums. I thought like half of the time, they just put a big name on there, just for a good look. I guess you're right.

i assumed he was just using the g unit name to get out there then once he dropped his album he would be a solo artist strictly under dre.

i think people read way too much into these things ... rememeber when Lloyd Banks was supposedly leaving G Unit due to problems with 50? that never happened but everyone was so sure he left ... apparently G Unit, 50 & Game gonna be doing some live shows in the near future anyways
