he's prolly gonna sell about twice as much as X did his first week, i don't see it becoming anything near 50 Cent saleswise tho... none of the G Unit albums have...

If he does 2 Million he's lucky. Y'all gotta realize how much Lloyd Banks grinded on the mixtape scene and had a G-Unit CD before his own shit dropped. That's wild right there.

2 Million tops if he does 500 K i'll revoke what I just said.

kind of echoing some people here..he ain't going to get 50 type numbers, he would of need a crazy club single and heavy promotion.

he'll get 2x platnium, and 300-400k first week.

I'd say between 2 and 3x platinum. The hype won't reach 50's level, though I'd love to see that.

Make Your Predictions Of What Game Will Sell In The First Week
« Reply #23 on: January 13, 2005, 10:02:38 AM »
I was on point on Xzibit and Eminem's first week sales, but I was way off when I thought Mase was going to have a big first week.  My problem is I don't have a television now, so I didn't know that Mase wasn't getting much video play on MTV and BET.

Anyway, I don't know how much video play "How We Do" is getting, but I've been told he hasn't recieved much more than a lukeworm reception.  Still, on the strength of being part of the G-Unit/Aftermath team, I think he's gonna be good for 500,000 units in the first week.

So that's my prediction 500,000.

So that's my prediction 500,000.

So a Lukewarm recption sells 500,000 copies in it's first week?! Crazy!

I'd say having the number 9 single in the nation isn't too lukewarm.

I hope he sells 500,000 in his first week, but I'm gonna go with 200~300 thousand with a very strong second week as well.
