Dre's Co-Producers/Writers on Detox Will Be Important.
« on: January 20, 2005, 04:32:29 PM »
I think it is important Dre get Mel-Man and Scott Storch back int he lab together to work/play on Detox.  Their tro on "2001" was unstoppable and I hope Dre can get them back, I know Storch has success solo, but what happened to Mel?  He didn't do anything on Documentary does he have his own label now or something?  I am glad Dre still has Mike Elizondo, he is talented, but he should also re-aquire Camara Cambon and Tommy Coster Jr. to collaborate on Detox.  I am sure Focus will help out on that.

I noticed that Dre now collaborates with Mark BAtson and Che Vicious.  Anyone have any info on this?

Now for the writers, Dre should have The Game, Hittman and Eminem and even DOC write the whole album.  That would be sick if Game could write the whole thing.

I trust Dre, as long as he's overseeing the project I'm sure it'll be tight.

No shit.  Dre is a producer, he will tell Game what he feels or what he wants conveyed through hsi raps.

BTW... here ia  veryu insightfull Mike ELizondo article that shows how Dre uses his musicians.

well game stays with what he writes because thats him. remember that shit he wrote for lil e on confessions? im sure for other artists he'll def write outside of what he writes for himself. that being said, storch is still making beats with dre. im sure dre will compile a group of good writers like he did for 2001

LMAO @ having game write the whole thing for him.  hell Dre might as well write it himself.  He needs DOC.  DOC is a mastermind behind albums.  Dre needs him, snoops needs him, hell the whole dpg needs DOC.
