Why is everyone hating on the Game?

The Game is on our side, he's trying to bring the west back and we need to support him. If we keep dissing him and not buy his albums cuz we think he sucks then we arent even supporting ourselves, cause right now Game is the most popular rapper of the west. (other than snoop). I aint dickriding him, he's not the best person to be repping the west but when a chance like this comes for the west, we need to take it and blow up so other rappers like E-A-ski and others can make it bigger

Well one thing I can say is that I can't tell you too much of what the haters say, because I ignore their posts and they go strait thru my "ears."

Overall, it seems to be 100s of reasons why people hate. Some people have valid points that they just blow outta proportion, and some just have ignorant reasons. On this board, the main problem that people seem to have but won't admit is that they are just mad that their favorite rappers aren't in Game's position. Many of them are complete underground heads, and not as far as underground backpackin is concerned, but speakin of the unknown rappers that are their heros. Some people like SGV are the ones who get mad that many people are Game fans now, but weren't fans of his before he was with Dre, so he considers them all dickriders. Some people hate the things Game talks about, and hate the fact that he is always talkin about New York and that he raps like he's from there. I know that many people in LA hate on him, but that's for different reasons that people on this board don't seem to care much about. Some people hate the fact that the main person representin us sounds NY and isn't very original, and some just hate his cockiness.

Some people really are "haters" and some are just those who seem to think negative about Game overall. None will ever consider theirselves to be haters, but we all know who they are. It never bothers me, it's just a sign that somebody is on top if people post more about why they suck than why their favorite rapper is good, or about their favorite rapper's album (if he has one).

So just to let everybody know, if you are tired of seein every other thread on the board bein Game related, all I can say is get used to it. It is gonna be lookin like the BWS board for a while, and why wouldn't it? This is the first time since I've been on here, and shit, the first time in twelve years that EVERYBODY in the country's main focus on a new artist is a artist from the west coast, and we are a west coast board. Imagine if this board was around when Doggystyle dropped, there woulda been hella Snoop threads. And guess what...the same way that people are hatin on Game and having all negative thoughts about him, there would have been the many heads who hated on Snoop who were mainly fans (or dickriders) of Eazy E, BG Knockout, and Dresta. It woulda been very interesting to see.

I dont have a problem with Game being obsessed with EAZY-E. nobody ever gives eazy props or shouts him out when they mention all the other fallen soilders so Game mentioning Eazy makes up for all those years that people have forgotten.

Very true. When I first starting looking at internet boards in 2000 when I went to college, I remember a gang of Ruthless dickriders staying on Eazy-E's dick, dissing Snoop left and right, especially for doing the Chin Check track.

Honestly, with the exception of Dre 2001 and the failure of the N.W.A. project, whenever an artist starts to gain some popularity out the west, people start hating. First I noticed it with the fact Snoop Dogg can never ever do anything right to many people. Then it was Xzibit selling out trying to be a crip with Restless, and selling out Tha Liks, and the 2Pac comebacks and how the new 2Pac CDs suck compared to past ones (I agree but a few songs were well done like Thug Mansion and Until the End of Time), and now it's the Game's turn. I mean, people will always find hate. If this was 1993, people would hate Snoop, so true from Ruthless fans. In 1996, people would hate 'Pac 'cause he was born in New York, and hate Ice Cube for going Hollywood. Hell people still hate on Ice Cube for Common's diss, and they have long made up and are cool. If Yuk was blowing up, Game fans would hate. If Ras Kass blew up, people would hate 'cause his cool with Xzibit. People will find reasons to hate. It's the internet, people have opinions, and it's here they can express them. I try not to hate. I can't hate the Game, when I heard the CD, it was hot as hell. Whatever it takes to get the west back. I don't think he should be dissing Xzibit though. I think X and Game would do some nice tracks together, and Xzibit's Strong Arm Steady would have some nice colabos with Game when he comes out with Black Wall Street. But as New York shows, beef over the top spot in an area attracts nationwide attention, and if X and Game does it, cool, as long as it stays lyrical and is strickly hip-hop. Who knows.

all i have to say is that i thought game would release an album with a more westcoast type ov sound, that dissapointed me abit..

off better, although he ain't that great of a rapper either. Im gettin sick&tired of these dissappointment releases. I wish I could go back in time to 93-94 when Death Row were on top, Chronic had been out for awhile, Doggystyle had just come out, Dogg Food was makin noise, those were the days. That's when westcoast hip-hop was at its best! But thats just my point of view
