of all the questions to ask u chose that one huh? people interview artists and the only thing u want to know is why we dont put it up in audio?  ::)

i cant speak for Jay but the reason we do it ...

we used to only post audio, then people complained we posted in real audio and not winmedia. so we began posting in both real audio and winmedia. then people complained that we didnt post it in text as their computers were playing up so they couldnt play audio.

converting to audio and making it sound good takes a fair bit of time and the one way that people are guaranteed to see the interview is by putting it in text. that way cant fail. so now we post up the shoutout to the site and the text version.

and also the audio takes up alot of webspace
