aswell as produced classics for 2 Pac, Snoop Dogg, etc.

I really dont think the Ambitions As A Ridah beat is the shit.. Pac made it what it is..

Ambitionz Az a Ridah is flawless in every sense of the word. All the production on AEOM, along with basically every early-mid 90's Death Row release, is first rate.

I consider Dogg Food and RR&GB both classics, both in my top 10 fav albums of all time.  I think RR&GB is a better album than Streets is a Mutha.  At one point daz was my favorite rapper, and to this day, I still like his raps on dogg food better than kurupts.

Raw and Dillinger and Young Gotti are both dope albums.  Nowhere near Dogg Food and RR&GB, but dope albums.  I can't call them classics.

This is the life I lead - very dissapointing for me.  I give it a 5/10.  No replay value except a couple of songs.

U Know What I'm Throwin Up - I liked it at first when I d/l it, then got tired of it after a few listens.  Bought the album, played it once, and have never listened to it since.  No replay value, again except for a couple of songs.

Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP - Don't know why everyone raves about this.  Boring album.  Daz cannot hold down an album on the mic anymore.  Would have been way better if it were full of dpg guest appearances.  Again, absolutely no replay value.

Dogg Pound 2002 - a real solid album, I like it a lot.
The Last of the Pound - solid, nothing stands out too much tho.

Who ride with us compilations are cool.

Everything else is straight wack.  Not even worth mentioning.

yeah but the shit he talks doesn't mean he doesn't put out dope music, and people writin him off cause he talks shit is stupid..i duno. i guess it probably has to do cause i kno daz personally and he's not a crackhead at all lol

Yeah, but in my opinion, you start looking at an artist differently when you find out that he likes to diss people here & there.
Basically, if Daz really puts some effort into his craft, he can really make hot beats...but like Seer said, the majority of his albums (cfr "Who Ride Wit Us compilations) consist of filler-tracks...and that's a shame.

raw and dillinger and young gotti are always getting compared to dogg food ....there is a reason for that...those cd's were supposed to be released on deathrow...thats why RAW has that classic deathrow  " G funk " sound on it with the live musicians and elaborate production...it was to be released on dpg records that was supposed to be under deathrows umbrella ( remember those ads in blaze where snoops name was crossed out and it had a blue and red rag tied together and listed all the names of the people in dpg?) as for dillenger and young gotti  those tracks werent even finished yet when daz left deathrow ....which explains why the versions of those songs that appear on 2002 are so stripped down... mike dean made those tracks sound as proper and polished as they do....remember all those stories of daz bouncin from deathrow and taking a gang of his masters with him? there you go, you do the math....I just thought yall might like a little insight to the origins of these " classics " .

^^ Naw, it ain't even about that. Just because I work with the artists doesn't mean I can't have a personal opinion about shit. I'm still a fan like everybody else on here, and I felt like making this thread to say what I wanted to say thats all.

in my mind there is no doubt about it that daz has 4 classiks under his belt.  i know that opinions are opinions and everyone has one but i find it hard to believe when someone says that doggfood is not a classik.  so I count that as 1 each for kurupt and daz and then my personal opinion is that Revenge,Retaliation and Getback and raw are classic albums and for kurupt i fell that kuruption and streetz are classic albums.

so the way i see it saying kurupt and daz have only a couple of classic albums is a huge understatement, while in fact they probaly combine for about 5 or 6 classic albums

I dont think daz is underrated..he's a dope producer,it's his attitude the ruins his reputation.
I also think its funny how he made those two new radio singles with pacs beats,
the "keep ya head up" one, and the other joint with nate dog,
that was originally also pacs beat i got it on a bootleg,
but im guessing daz made it? I dunno, but my point is he COULD have came up with something more original for 2005..but again..that was probably a buisness move ,knowing those joints would make it on to the radio..I agree daz has a couple classics but i think his mouth takes alot of his credit away and over shadows him.
just my opinion.

Fuck all these industry dick riders with their typical classic list (Chronic, 2001, Doggystyle, Ready 2 Die, Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic etc..)  Fuck what you heard.  Dogg Food - Classic, sounds better today than alot of so called classic DR releases.
Retaliation, Revenge, and Get Back- Classic! Pure, high quality West Coast gangsta shit @ its finest.
I'll give Daz two classics under his belt.
are you people that dumb and slow...lol...
Tuff one...but quik is up there...put it on me is classic imo and on some detox shit...dj lethal>>dj quik....rza>>premo.....dre>>>quik....rza=dre....dre, rza, quik, dj lethal>>>>>timberland, rockwielder, EIMINEM, mannie fresh

CLASSICS = The Chronic (Dr Dre), Doggystyle (Snoop), All Eyez On Me (Pac), Regulate G Funk Era (Warren G) sure as hell not those you mentioned, good albums yeah, but classics NO.

But I respect yur opinion
These is dedicated to the niggaz down from day one!!!
