Am I the only one getting fuckin tired of mixtapes? Seem lyke everybody and their mama are releasing mixtapes these days, and lets face it: 90% of them suck. I mean, I lyked some of Snoop Chuuuch tapes (mostely for the Kokane tracks and the 213 shit) but even Snoop took dat shit too far.
I mean even of u are a fan of the dude who got DJ "I wanna make a dolla every other fucka" to do it, only a few tracks are coo. Most of the time its juss rappers spitting over wack club-tracks, or other peoples tracks.

Wat ever happened to juss staring on other dudes shit, doin concerts and selling record through dat

mixtapes is tight. they free. they give the artist the chance to put out the type of songs they label wont let them. and you get to hear your favorite rappers on other rappers beats.

Some mixtapes might be wack, but I think the entire mixtape thing is one of the best ways to experience hiphop. What would hiphop be without it? It's the easiest and best way for underground artists to try and get to the top. Besides that, I love hearing hiphop being mixed and hearing rappers freestyle over other rappers beats. Mixtapes are hot, but there's some dj's who find it necessary to screw 'em up by yelling all over the place. Think of people like Whoo Kid, Kay Slay, Big Mike... They need to stop that because they're ruining their own artworks.
