yup after Pac died the West Coast got laughed at. all these labels was pretty much like "haha what yall gone do now" and we fell apart & got blackballed

Also our rapper's became mega superstars and became more than just rapper's...
where as the other sides could not.

plus again, Opinion or lack there of... ;)
(West's has Always been here, & always will be, where were U?)

One thing I noticed also if you aint from cali or exposed to that old school music like gap band,earth wind & fire,SOS Band,etc than you wont get into the production cuz in the westcoast we sample a lot of those old records or try to get that funky sound.
