So who's gonna be MVP this season? (NBA)
« on: February 16, 2005, 07:33:12 AM »
This is not about everyone voting their favorite player or the one who helps his team most in their opinion or anything. This is about predicting who will be the chosen one.. by authorities.
For example: I really don't think that Bryant will be MVP for various obvious reasons, although he is a good player. I also don't think that Garnett will be MVP, cause he was last year's MVP and the team isnt going too well, although he puts up the best numbers by far.

Im going to bump this thread in a couple of months to see how right/wrong we all were.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

I voted for Steve Nash....

Yup, me too. Right now I think it's Nash's to lose. He's turned Phoenix around like the self pro-claimed "best point guard in the league" Stephon Marbury sure as hell couldn't do..

It will be Nash unless someone else turns it right up after the allstar break..

I voted for James and Garnett...i was gonna vote for Nash...But im hoping James can pick it up a lot MORE (even though he's doing great numbers 25 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, which jordan only did ONCE!)...Cavs get second place or somthin...that'd be dope

and Garnett, well, Timberwolves, lets hope they dont lose anymore games  ;D

I voted for Nash and James.

Nash is averaging 12.5 assists (WHOA) and is the perfect PG at the moment, plus the Suns are doing well

James is by far the most improved player, plus he is carrying the entire team on his own at age 20. That's MVP caliber shit. Don't forget, Cavaliers got a winning record 29-20
