DubCC 1992 - Throwback thread topics (should be fun)
« on: February 21, 2005, 09:45:50 PM »
If Dubcc had been around back in 1992, and if the internet was as big then as it is now, what do you think are some of the topics we would see here? Lookin at the diversity of people on here, and seein how so many diff people have diff tastes and opinions, I think we'd see many similar lookin threads that related to the current issues at the time. So, being creative or comedic but realistic at the same time, what are some of the threads you could have imagined popping up around then, if the internet was the same way it is now? If this thread ends up bein successful, I will go ahead with each year, because I think it would be more interesting to look at it year by year instead of just by a set of years.

1992:
Thread Subjects
-The Chronic - Instant Classic
-The Chronic is definitely the most amazing CD in history
-Will Snoop Dogg be considered one of the best rappers ever?
-Dre owes all of his success to Eazy!
-Eazy E and Ruthless > Ice Cube > Dre and Snoop
-Is the west coast going to be on top soon?
-DJ Quik will be the greatest producer and rapper ever
-Please stop with all the Dre and Snoop threads!!!
-Ten reasons the West coast rap scene is better than the east coast
-Who's better, MC Hammer or Snoop Dogg?
-2Pac is the most underrated rapper out
-Dre and Snoop have officially ended Eazy E's career
-Eazy E will definitely end Dre and Snoop's career, period
-Will Death Row become as strong as Ruthless?
-Death Row will NEVER be anything close to what Ruthless is
-Who are those dudes rappin on High Powered? They're hot!
-Merged: The OFFICIAL Chronic Discussion
-Merged: The OFFICIAL Snoop/Dre/Death Row vs. Eazy E/Ruthless Discussion
-Closed: Snoop and Dre suck dick!
-Closed: Dre used to dress like a faggot! Pics inside!
-Closed: Eazy E used to get jumped at Compton High
-MC Breed is the best west coast rapper (comments would insult the "idiot" who thought he was a west coast rapper and start up a completely different arguement)
-Sticky: Suge Knight interview now up! See why he thinks his record company will be a success
-What park was "Nothin but a G thang" shot at?
-What kind of pants were those that Snoop had on the ironing board?
-How do LA Gangsta Rappers feel about the LA Riots?

That's enough for now, I could go on all day....so y'all continue to add on.

how many years before snoop sells out?
How many years before daz completely falls off?
how many years before kurupt completely falls off?
How many years before nate dogg collaborates with every single rapper in the industry?
How many years before dr. dre decides to never again work with a westcoast rapper?
Will suge knight win the nobel peace prize?
how long can deathrow records last before it can no longer put out any new material?

LOL. I don't even think they would have been thinkin about any of that in 1992. Snoop hadn't dropped his solo, Daz n Kurupt had just just just came out on Chronic, same as Nate, Dre hadn't put out Snoop, and Death Row had only put out that one album.

actually many people on this forum can tell the future.  In fact at least 10 people have said that in 20 years Drop it like its Hot will definately be considered a snoop classic.
