I still think they should have Tha Realest play 2Pac in a movie about his life. I think that would be crazy, and maybe Tha Realest dream come true. Have Guerilla Black play Biggie and I bet you that shit will be one of the highest grossing movies since 8 Mile.

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
