This movie has the potential to be a decent and at the same time has the potential to be flat out garbage. Thoughts?

i havent seen get shorty, but its one of my roommates' favorite movies. Be Cool is from the same people, but it looks like a star studded piece of cinematic garbage from the previews

And the Uma Thurman John Travolta come back dance scene looks cheesy, it looks like its gonna be funny but its gonna be an accidental spoof of good films such as Get Shorty, Malibu's Most Wanted(not good but funny), etc.

I think it will be good, but not great.  Get Shorty was a very good movie, but, I don't know if this one can live up to that.

shes ugly and Kill Bill sucked big time
anyway... may check it on dvd, but I aint payin for it

Pulp Fiction was a great movie regardless... not just because Uma was so great in it
and I still think shes ugly, even if shed be a great actress
and come on... Kill Bill was just plain trash

ok u meant great as in looks, i took it as in her acting skills.  and Kill Bill is classic for some and worse movie for others.

Pulp Fiction was a great movie regardless... not just because Uma was so great in it

I think an actor does their best work with the right director for them.  Deniro and Dicaprio  with Scorsese, Michael Madsen with Tarantino, well pretty much any actor that works with tarantino does better than their average performance and so on

My point exactly... in great movies, actors easily look good, but what has Thurman done besides those Tarantino movies that was so good?

I think any movie that can boast names such as John Travolta,Andre 3000,Cedric The Entertainer, Uma Thurman, The Rock,
and Steven Tyler deserves a chance.
