Easy Rider - This is a 1969 cult classic that deals with Individuality and freedom in America

City of God - A very graphic gangster flick about a Brazilian Ghetto where young kids control the blocks and hundreds die from bullets

One Flew Over the Kuckoo's Nest - THis movie is fuckin amazing. The ending is probably the best ending to any movie i've ever seen

The only one I've seen is One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and it's great. However, the book is far superior IMO.

I've never read the book.  How is it better, or is it one of those things that can't really be described without reading it first?

They did a tv series offshoot called City of Men, that was really dope. Try checking out the film Carandiru, which is about a brazilian prison, that is also real dope.

Well a movie similiar to City God in its style would be Amores Perros or even Nicotina

Easy Rider is a fucking great movie.  The Soundtrack is fucking great.  Fonda and Nicholson are fucking great.

Yeah, Amores Perros is a really good film, although I did feel the middle story of the three (the women and her lover) went on way too long as wasn't as engaging as the first and last stories.

That movie is overrated IMO.

They get way too emo with it.

Well the book is told completely from The Chief's perspective and it gives you a shot into his insane mind.
