Dr. Dre produced a D12 song a few years ago, called "Revelation" - that's the most rock influenced beat Dre's ever done...besides the D.O.C. song just mentioned.  8)

I believe one of the earliest if not the first rap metal song was  called "Pickin' Up Metal" by Boo-Yaa Tribe from their "New Funky Nation"
debut album in 1990. They followed that with a  5 song EP called "Metally Disturbed" in 1996 and a full length rap metal album called
"Angry Samoans" in 1997. Ice- T's group Body Count can also be considered as well as Cypress Hill's last few albums. Hope this helps!
