R.I.P Mixmaster Spade...Julio G reported on KDAY he passed away tonight when I was sitting in traffic.  Show some love for a hip hop pioneer and a westcoast legend!  Before eazy, dre, ren, cube, before game and bws, before Quik, Suge, and the likes there was Mixmaster Spade.  One of the very first doods to put crack slanging and that gangbanging way of life on wax....holdin down Compton and the westcoast since the 80s!

Very sad news.... Spade was cool as fuck.  I had a couple tracks with him....one of em was on Daddy V's album, and Spade did the hooks....



Condolences to his friends and family.
