LOL... Frankie J was always weird to me. I knew he was SD, and he always wears SD teams, but he claims Texas just 'cause he was in the Cumbia Kings. I mean, that's like when Ice Cube claimed Compton when he was from South Central, though SD and TX are way further apart. Baby Bash also trys to claim southern artist, but his ass is straight Bay. Both to me seem to have this whole westcoast sound, westcoast style, and very westcoast looks, but want the southern sales. Aways, I am going to buy the album, I look forward to hearing the Obsession remix, I love the original, and unlike many other Latinos that love the original, I actually like the remix. Pac came here when he was 16/17. Died at 25. He spent more time on the East Coast. Born and bred out there.

Xzibit came here when he was in his late teens, he's a TRANSPLANT.

Baby Bash and Frankie J claim the south for marketing. How is Baby Bash gonna be a Bay rapper for many years, and go to Txas to record one of his many CDs, and be a southern rapper, 'cause it sells. I can see the Frankie J argument, because Texas to him is what Cali was to 'Pac. He was in Cali, San Diego, but went to Texas to learn the game. Though, unlike 'Pac, Frankie J didn't relocate to Texas, he moved there to be part of a group. 'Pac didn't go to Cali thinking of joining Digital Underground. He came to Cali because his family moved out here.

You can't hate on Frankie J and Baby Bash though. They are trying to do their thing, and they think claiming the south will help them. If the west was big, you'd see more Charger and Raider jerseys on them, if you don't see enough already. They do everything westcoast, and are from the west. The only thing is that they claim south. 'Pac was completely Bay. He added his east flava with Bay sound, Bay everything. So 'Pac was basically this eastcoast dude doing everything westcoast.
