Anybody know why Ice Cube - No Vaseline was on that Death Row Greatest Hits in 96 or 97?

Suge probably paid Cube for the leasing rights before Dre left.

Regulate was on the Above The Rim OST so it should be a Death Row track. But Dear Mama, Me Against The World and I Get Around (Rmx) wasn't no DR songs, so why were they on the album?

Wrong! They are allowed to release dre tracks under the circumstances that nothing is changed from the original.

wrong. anything unreleased cant be released by them as it deters from dre's artistic vision. i.e. if wasn't released it may not be what he wanted, or be finalised.

Ok, first I've heard that Dre possibly had unreleased trackst from his Death Row days. If this is true, why hasn't it been released previously? I thought Dre kept his tracks at his lab at his crib? Did Dre start working on Chronic II? I remember back when California Love first came on MTV, the artist was listed as Dr Dre featuring Tupac and the name of the Album was Chornic II. I then read some interviews where Dre was pissed because Suge took "that song" and put it on Tupac's album. SO, I'm under the assumption that Dre possibly started some tracks for Chronic 2, but that shit would have already leaked by now, right??? Also, I remember Dre saying that Suge came to his house and took his masters, I'm assuming he only gave him his complted work and not anything that he was working on??
