Honestly, "harder" is kind of a subjective term... I'd say that while Cube is probably the better rapper, Ren comes off with his own kind of attitude and is arguably "harder"... Ren's a lot more hit-and-miss than cube, but sometimes he came off sick, particularly in his early work.

Cube because except for a few cuts on Ren's solo career he seemed to lose that creative edge too early after Dre left...i mean Ren had the upper hand, he worked with Dre longer, and stayed down with Dre even During "The Chronic" days ("Fuck Them Other Fools!/What Up Ren?!")...so Cube proved alot more with "Harder" lyrics more creativity, flow, and found new ways to rhyme about the same shyt...Ren didnt....but Ren does keep it harder in the sense that he only raps about the same shyt bitches, weed, and killing fools...Efil4zaggin vs. Amerikkka'z Most Wanted= Amerikkka's...for lyrics and depth after "Straight Outta Compton" and "Eazy Duz It" (which Cube wrote the majority of) he evolved, Ren and the rest didnt it just got more about bitches, killing cops and all that...Ren and Dre both went at Cube on the album and still couldnt even fuck with "No Vaseline"....
