« on: April 11, 2005, 12:28:19 PM »
every time i start my computer is get a bunch of error messages: Explorer (x2), Parprta, Rundll32, Prevsrv, Webproxy. I HAVE to close all of them, then when i do that it just sits there on my desktop with nothing there (no icons, etc) any idea how to fix this?

start > run > type msconfig, goto startup tab, remove all the rubbish that doesn't look like something you installed, you might have to go into safe mode.

To do that when your computer is starting up you need to press F5 or F8(its different for different bios's(?))

its probably spyware/viruses
